In the face of severe natural disasters occurring in many northern provinces and cities, causing heavy losses in human lives and property, many residential areas were cut off and isolated due to storms and floods, causing shortages of necessities, food, and clean water, directly affecting the lives of thousands of households here.
Responding to the call of the General Secretary, President, and Prime Minister for businesses, agencies, and organizations to contribute money and efforts to support localities to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3, with the spirit of mutual love and support for people in flood-affected areas. Nam Viet Foods and Beverage Joint Stock Company with the brand name VINUT has developed a plan and actively implemented this work specifically as follows:
Plan to support people in flood-affected areas in the North
Implementation time: Quickly prepare and transport to flood-affected regions from September 11, 2024.
Location: According to information received from the locality, Nam Viet Company will support 17 places in the provinces as follows:
- Tuyen Quang Province
– Support 500 households in Tuyen Quang City
- Lao Cai Province
– Support 500 households in Bac Ha District
– Support 500 households in Bao Yen District
– Support 500 households in Sapa Town
– Support 500 households in Bat Xat District
- Yen Bai Province
– Support 09 severely flooded communes, each commune supports 500 households
- Phu Tho Province
– Support 03 heavily flooded communes in Ha Hoa District, each commune supports 500 households
Implementation method: Through the Fatherland Front and local departments, agencies, and unions, Nam Viet Company’s products and other necessities will be transported to the collection points of each province and will be handed over to local households by the departments, agencies, and unions representing the Company.
Estimated budget: about VND 8,900,000,000 (Eight billion nine hundred million VND).
Quantity: Nam Viet Company will transport specific products and necessities as follows:
- 8,500 blankets to keep warm.
- 8,500 kg of ClorinB disinfectant in tablet or liquid form to be divided into small portions for each household.
- 50,000 packages of instant fresh porridge.
- 100 tons of rice.
- 100,000 bottles of Vinut lemongrass honey juice.
- 100,000 bottles of Joy coconut water with pulp.
- 100,000 cans of Vinut melon milk, and soy milk.
- 100,000 cans of Joy salted lemon juice.
The above products and necessities will help people, especially children, to be assured of some nutritional food issues, physical support, and resistance to help people overcome difficult times during storms and floods.
