Celebrations for Vietnam Women’s Day October 20

Through the process of national construction, protection and development, the history of Vietnam country has forever left a shining imprint of the heroic and intelligent heroines who have contributed to movements and revolutions for national independence. On October 20, 1930, the Vietnamese Anti-Imperial Women’s Association (now the Vietnam Women’s Union) was officially established. This day has also been chosen by the Communist Party of Vietnam on October 20 as a traditional day, celebrating and honoring Vietnamese women and named “Vietname Women’s Day”.

After 90 years of establishment and development, the Vietnam Women’s Union has also undergone two great national defense wars to proceed with the construction and renewal of the country. In the journey of industrialization and modernization, moving to the digital era with the 4.0 era, Vietnamese women have shown patriotism, expanded knowledge, advanced level, dynamism creativity, enthusiasm and above all benevolence, concern and help to the community and society; worthy of Uncle Ho’s eight golden words “Hero, indomitable, loyal, courageous”.

In order to celebrate Vietnamese Women’s Day on October 20, Nam Viet Foods and Beverage JSC together with the Trade Union of Nam Viet Foods and Beverage JSC organized a sport festival to celebrate Vietnam Women’s Day for all employees of the company. The event contributes to taking care of the employees’ lives of Nam Viet Company, helping to strengthen the solidarity among employees, propagating and promoting the sports spirit, with the goal of improve health, develop comprehensive human resources in the journey of building and developing the company. In particular, this year’s Sport Fest is a tribute to the company’s female employees and workers who are considered as half of the world with gentle beauty, warm love and affection.

The program includes sports competition activities and giving gifts to female employees of Nam Viet company. The Sports Festival consists of four contests with the following contents:

1. Love Balloons
2. Team jump rope
3. Trial of ingenuity
4. Energize teammates

Prizes will be awarded to 3 units that get the first, second and third place in each contest, with the prize structure:

• First Prize: 3,000,000 VND
• Second prize: 2,000,000 VND
• Third Prize: 1,500,000 VND
• Consolation prize: 1,000,000 VND

And finally, fresh flower bouquets of spiritual and material value will be given to the company’s employees at the end of the program.
